Growing up in the heartland of California gave Jill her love of Mother Nature and a special appreciation for flowers.

After 15 years of successfully running her own flower shop in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jill, a former news writer-producer, decided to sell her business and return to a media career as a way of pursuing her affinity for everything that grows.

For five years she was San Francisco’s “Good Gardener,” the flower and garden reporter for ABC 7 News in San Francisco. Jill currently appears on KMAX-TV’s “Good Day, Sacramento” and “Good Evening, Sacramento,” and she is a regular contributor on “Henry’s Garden” for San Francisco’s KRON-TV. Jill is also a frequent guest on HGTV’s “Decorating with Style” and can be seen on HGTV’s “Carol Duvall’s Holiday Workshop.” Additionally, Jill’s Jonquils blog and webcasts can be viewed on www.oodleboxtv.com.
